Tea fields in Japan

SHOJUEN · WHOLESALE / EXPORT

Japanese matcha & tea for your business.

Matcha, tencha and hojicha for cafes, brands, importers and distributors. We do not start with a grade name. We start with your use, flavor, color, volume and target price.

From small test orders to ongoing wholesale supply.

WHOLESALE APPROACH

Choose tea by the job it needs to do.

SHOJUEN is not a wholesale page for promoting one farm or one origin. We visit, taste and compare, then propose options around your use, flavor, color, volume and target price. The photography is here to show the background behind that work.

FROM FIELD TO PRODUCT

The photos are context. Your product is the focus.

We look across cultivation, processing and powder production to understand color, aroma, flavor and handling. The goal is not to feature one producer, but to find tea that fits a cafe, brand, importer or distributor.

01

Define the right traits for latte, usucha, bakery or resale

02

Compare flavor and color together with price and required volume

03

Narrow options with destination and continuity of supply in mind

HOW WE SELECT

We look beyond the specification sheet.

What we see at origin matters, but so does what happens in the cup. We compare color, aroma and taste, then translate those differences into practical choices for wholesale buyers.

01

Compare aroma and finish, not only powder color

02

For cafe use, check how the tea behaves with milk and recipes

03

Consider price, volume and continuity before proposing an option

PRODUCT RANGE

Tea selected around the product you are making.

Latte, straight tea, food production, ingredient use and retail each call for different qualities. We narrow the range around your application, volume and price target.

MATCHA / LATTE

Selected for color and aroma that still show through milk, with a practical balance of quality and cost for daily cafe use.

BUSINESS SUPPORT

From tea selection to export planning.

You do not need every detail fixed before contacting us. We can work through the product, volume, price range and destination together and define a practical next step.

01

Products

Matcha, tencha and hojicha are the core range. We shortlist options around how the tea will actually be used.

02

Volume & samples

Where available, samples or small test lots can be discussed before moving to ongoing supply.

03

Pricing & terms

Pricing is discussed case by case based on the product, volume and destination. A target price helps us narrow the options.

04

Export & shipping

We work through packing, shipping method, documentation and importer-side requirements according to the destination.

Availability, samples, quantities and document requirements vary by product, timing and destination. Share what you know and we will confirm the rest case by case.

HOW WHOLESALE WORKS

02

We shortlist

03

Test

04

Export & supply

We align packing, quantity, timing and importer requirements.

FAQ

Common wholesale & export questions

Can I start with a small order?

Yes, depending on the product. Some teas can be tested with samples or a small lot first. Tell us the volume you have in mind and we can suggest practical options.

Do I need to know the matcha grade or cultivar?

No. Tell us how you plan to use the tea, along with your flavor, color and budget preferences. We can narrow the options from there.

Can you discuss international shipping and export?

Yes. We confirm the destination, product and volume first, then work through packing, shipping and importer-side requirements for that market.

Are samples available?

Where available, we can discuss samples or a small test lot. Availability depends on the product and timing.

What should I include in my first inquiry?

Company or brand name, destination country, intended use, approximate monthly volume and target price are helpful. It is fine if some details are still undecided.
